My Thoughts
This one was a mixed bag, especially on re-read. I first read it on Kindle a while back and decided to try the audiobook for a fresh angle — and my feelings landed somewhere in the middle.
Carrie (FMC)
Girl… she grated my nerves in the first half.
Her choices? Her attitude? The chaos??
I was exhausted. 😭
BUT — she genuinely grows by the end, and I found myself surprisingly proud of where she ended up.
Jack & Michael (MMCs)
Oh yes. Total. Daddies.
Dominant. Controlled. Patient.
Their dynamic with Carrie had real potential and the chemistry definitely snapped into place once the spice finally decided to show up.
Spice
Signature Jade West filth, intense and dirty — but only after the 70% mark.
It was a loooong wait to get there.
Worth it once it arrived, but the pacing threw the whole experience off.
Overall Feel
Not my favourite Jade West book, but a solid choice if you’re craving slow-building tension and older-MMC dominance.
