First Impressions
I read Sugar Daddies last year in paperback and really enjoyed it, so I was curious (and a little cautious) about how it would translate into audiobook format. Now that I’ve finished listening… yep, I’m happy to say it really holds up.
More Than Just Spice
Going in, I assumed it would just be a steamy romp—and yes, the spice is definitely there—but what caught me off guard (in the best way) was just how emotionally engaging and layered this story is. There’s purpose behind the heat, and that gave the whole book so much more substance than I expected.
MMF Dynamic
This was actually my first ever MMF when I read it, and I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about that dynamic. But Jade West does a brilliant job making the relationship feel balanced, thoughtful, and real.
Rick, Carl, and Katie each bring something unique to the table, and their chemistry is undeniable.
Character Growth
Katie’s growth stood out the most. She starts off unsure and still figuring out who she is… but by the end, she’s confident, self-aware, and wonderfully bold. The audiobook narration really brings that transformation to life.
The Spice Level
Top tier.
Seriously.
But what I loved is that the steamy moments aren’t just there for shock value—they’re full of emotion, intimacy, and connection, which made them so much more impactful.

Now let’s talk about the audiobook version… just oh my god—it definitely ramped up the spice of the book.
Cornell Collins was phenomenal as Carl/Rick. His narration had presence, charisma, and this rich depth that made both men feel incredibly real—especially in those… intense scenes. He absolutely elevated the entire story.
Hannah Martin was a good addition, though a bit overshadowed by Cornell’s performance. She didn’t bring quite the same intensity, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Together they still delivered a very engaging listen.
