✨ My Review
Re-reading Magic:
I first read Twisted Love a few years ago (pre-Goodreads era 🙈) in paperback and absolutely loved it. Coming back through the audiobook felt like slipping into a story I already knew but still somehow got swept up in.
Their chemistry? Still chef’s kiss.
The push-pull dynamic had me hooked all over again, and the emotional payoff still hit just right.
About That “Dark Side”:
Okay sooo… one thing I picked up on this time around: Alex keeps warning Ava about his “dark side,” even during intimate scenes… but honestly? That dark side never makes a guest appearance.
Given the foreshadowing, I half expected darker kinks or even light BDSM vibes, but the spice stays firmly in vanilla-but-steamy territory. Not bad—just not what was hinted at.
Still Addictive:
Even with that tiny letdown, Twisted Love is still a super addictive, drama-filled listen that kicks off the series strong. The tension, passion, and character development all still slap.
Revisiting it in audio completely reignited my excitement for the rest of the series. Bring on the chaos.

I was so curious how the audiobook would hold up.
Spoiler: still loved it.
Cindy Kay brought softness and emotion to Ava that made her feel grounded and genuine.
Aiden Snow absolutely nailed Alex’s cool, controlled demeanor.
The dual narration worked beautifully to highlight their individual personalities and internal conflicts—especially Alex’s razor-sharp composure vs. Ava’s vulnerable strength. It made falling back into their world way too easy.
