🧝♀️ What They Did
Elvis and Toffee clearly fancied themselves as Christmas models today! They set up their own little Elf Photo Booth complete with elf-sized props and even left a few Polaroid photos of themselves having fun. Strike a pose — it’s elfie time! 😆✨
🎬 Behind the Scenes
This one was pure joy to set up! I found some adorable printable elf-sized photo booth props and a mini booth template online, printed them, and glued the props onto cocktail sticks. To add a realistic touch, I used my Polaroid camera to take a few photos of the elves “posing” — the kids were convinced they took the pictures themselves! Their laughter when they saw the tiny elf photos was absolutely priceless.
I was planning on getting the kids their own props to use too… but I completely ran out of time. Yes, I could probably have found a printable and made something last-minute, but honestly? I’m a tired mama now! 😂 So the kids got the elf version only — and honestly, they were still absolutely buzzing.

💡 Recreate It at Home
- Printable Elf Booth & Props: available from PixelsandPineDigital on Etsy — quick and easy to cut out.
- Optional photos: you don’t need to take Polaroids! Just use your phone camera in 1:1 square mode and print mini versions if you want the same effect.
- For extra fun, set up a little backdrop (wrapping paper or tinsel curtain works perfectly).
🪄 Elf Hack of the Day
💫 Keep a roll of washi tape handy — it’s gentle enough to stick elf props or paper décor without peeling paint, and you can reuse it for labels, mini banners, or quick elf fixes!
