🧝♀️ What They Did
Today the elves decided they wanted a spin — literally. Elvis and Toffee were found taped inside the washing machine like two tiny daredevils gearing up for the ultimate amusement park ride. They looked VERY proud of themselves.
🎬 Behind the Scenes
This setup always cracks me up because it looks like the elves are about to go on the ride of their lives. I gently taped Elvis and Toffee to the inside of the washing machine door (machine OFF and unplugged — safety first even during elf chaos).
And to really sell the idea, I made a cute little rollercoaster name sign to stick on the outside of the washing machine — because obviously this wasn’t just a spin cycle… this was THE SPIN CYCLE SCREAMER 🎢🌀
Quick to set up, guaranteed to get laughs, and made the boys shout “NO WAY!” the second they walked into the kitchen. Absolute win.

💡 Recreate It at Home
- Make sure the machine is OFF (and ideally turned off at the wall – just in case!).
- Stick your elves inside the door with gentle tape or tack.
- Add a little sign like: “Spin Cycle: Here We Come!”
- Perfect 60-second setup for tired parents.
🪄 Elf Hack of the Day
💡 Keep a roll of painter’s tape in your elf supply box — it sticks well but doesn’t damage surfaces (or elves!).
