🧝♀️ What They Did
Disaster struck overnight! Elvis and Toffee woke up to find the floor turned into a bubbling pool of lava. With lightning-fast reflexes (and a dash of Christmas drama), they climbed the walls to safety. The boys found them mid-climb this morning, laughing at how seriously the elves took the “floor is lava” rule!
🎬 Behind the Scenes
I printed out a bunch of lava pictures, stuck them together into one giant molten masterpiece, and taped it across the floor. Then, with some very strategic tape and a steady hand, Elvis and Toffee were “secured” halfway up the wall, looking like they were scaling for dear life. It’s one of those setups that looks wild but is actually super easy — and the reaction from the kids was gold!

💡 Recreate It at Home
- Google image search “lava texture” or “cartoon lava.”
- Print out multiple sheets and tape them together.
- Lay them across the floor (or table!) for instant molten chaos.
- Use tape or string to “hang” your elves from the wall or furniture.
Bonus idea: place a toy or small Christmas decoration “melting” in the lava for extra giggles.

Keep a stash of mini zip-lock bags handy — perfect for storing any tiny elf accessories, props, or leftover printables so you don’t lose track between setups! They’ll save you loads of time when you’re bleary-eyed at midnight trying to find that one mini candy cane. 🎄
