🧝♀️ What They Did
It’s time to say goodbye — but not without one last touch of Christmas magic. Elvis and Toffee surprised the boys with their Christmas Eve boxes, filled to the brim with cozy treats and festive fun for the day ahead. While the elves packed their tiny suitcases and prepared for their flight back to the North Pole, they made sure everything was ready for Santa’s visit tonight — the special plates for Santa, the Reindeers, and even themselves. ✨
🎬 Behind the Scenes
This one always feels a little bittersweet. After twenty-four days of mischief, giggles, and “Mum, look what they did!” mornings, it’s time to wave them off.
Each Christmas Eve box is filled with little bits that have become a tradition over the years — new pyjamas, hot chocolate sachets in each boy’s favourite flavour, Christmas activities to keep them entertained while the magic builds, their stockings to hang, and our copy of The Night Before Christmas for bedtime reading.
We also include a Santa key (since we don’t have a chimney!) and a little Reindeer Finder glitter jar to sprinkle on the balcony, so the reindeer know where to land. And of course, out come our three special plates — one for Santa’s mince pie, one for a carrot, and one for the elves’ own tiny treats.

💡 Recreate It at Home
- Christmas Eve boxes are easy to personalise — fill them with whatever suits your family best!
- I found mine last year in Home Bargains, but plenty of supermarkets and online shops have them too.
- Add things like hot chocolate, a Christmas book, small toys, or a film night snack.
- Don’t forget your special Santa plate setup — it’s a tradition worth keeping!
